Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is a colorless and normally odorless gas that is about 1 ½ times as heavy as air.

At concentrations between 2% and 5% CO2 can cause nausea, dizziness, headache, mental confusion, increase blood pressure and respiratory rate. Levels above 5% cause unconsciousness. If the gas concentration reaches 10% or higher, asphyxiation (through the displacement of oxygen) can occur within minutes. OSHA identifies CO2 concentrations greater than 4% as: being immediately dangerous to life and health.

A carbon dioxide monitor and alarm system can let your personnel know when a CO2 gas concentration is occurring. When CO2 levels exceed 0.5%, the OSHA time weighted average (TWA), audible and visual alarms are triggered. You can ventilate the room and wait outside until it is safe to return. A green flashing light on the remote alarm means the CO2 concentration is less than 0.5%. Installing an analox 50 means you know you and your employees are protected.

It is with our customer’s safety in mind, that we now offer the Amoxtec carbon dioxide monitor and alarm system for sale or lease. ( Installation included.)

Some of the benefits include:

- Makes it safe for your employees to enter and work in areas where carbon dioxide (CO2) may be present.

- Ensures compliance with the local, state and federal law.

- Lets you know immediately if you have a carbon dioxide (CO2) leak.

We have used this system in our facility for over ten years, and have found it to be very reliable and accurate.
